Where do you work as a Physio and what type of clients do you treat on a normal day?

I work at Hillview Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy in Midland. I treat many conditions including bladder, bowel, and pelvic floor problems (prolapse and painful sex) in women of all ages, as well as post surgical male and female patient’s from gynaecology and urology. I also treat musculoskeletal problems, but mainly for pregnant or postnatal women. My passion is women in the child bearing years, and I especially enjoy helping women maintain and return to high level exercise such as dancing, running, Crossfit, and weight lifting.

Which FitRight classes do you currently teach?

I teach the PregEd workshops.

What do you love most about being a FitRight Instructor?

I love how FitRight can be a great compliment to other exercise in pregnancy, or can help ladies continue to be active through some of the difficulties of pregnancy. I especially love running PregEd and helping to dispel some of the many myths around pregnancy, and particularly exercising during pregnancy. Exercise is one of the best medicines, but especially during this time to help prepare for labour and the postnatal period.
