Where do you work as a Physio and what type of clients do you treat on a normal day?
I have 15 years experience in the health care industry in both the public hospital and private practice settings. I love pilates and yoga and have taught group pilates extensively in the past. Currently I love my job at Mercy Physiotherapy in Mt Lawley working with postpartum women on the Family Birthing Unit as well as in musculoskeletal outpatients. I am passionate about all things relating to women’s holistic health and have developed the “Choose to Thrive” series of women’s wellness workshops. You can find out more on my website at www.michelleleonie.com.au
Which FitRight classes do you currently teach?
I teach Toddler & Me and Baby&Me at a beautiful venue in Maylands, right next door to my favourite café the Little Shop of Plenty!
What do you love most about being a FitRight Instructor?
The opportunity to connect with and make a positive difference in the lives of new mums! Motherhood is such a rollercoaster ride and the greatest challenge women face. It’s a privilege to be a source of support and advice to mothers, especially during the early years.
