We are excited to present this informative live session on Strength Training for Women, with FitRight Physiotherapist Amber Hanrahan

This education session will:

  • explain the changes a woman’s body experiences through the lifestages, especially at significant milestones such as pregnancy, post-natal and peri/menopause
  • the implications of strength training throughout these periods
  • the latest evidence around exercise programming and modifications to ensure strength goals are achieved
  • A practical component will include specific demonstrations, including case studies

This session will also be Live Streamed (free) for all FitRight ProfessionalEd Members, or available at a reduced for in-person attendance.

Amber Hanrahan is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist working at Roar Physiotherapy in Cockburn. She has a special interest in Women’s fitness, pregnancy related pain, abdominal muscle rehabilitation and returning to exercise after birth. Amber is a strong advocate for strength & conditioning in the general population.
Amber became a FitRight instructor in 2016, teaching studio classes. In 2018, she launched the FitRight Aqua services and continues to teach aqua classes. Amber also teaches FitRight’s newest online services. Amber runs PregEd and CoreEd workshops throughout the year, with the hope to empower women throughout their pregnancy and educate other healthcare professionals to do the same.
